Comments: The packaging folds into a display or gift box, and includes a Father’s Day card for that special dad in your life. It was a Wal-Mart exclusive in the US, and a Toys ‘R’ Us exclusive in Australia.

Comments: Similar but different to the 2004 Vintage OTC release. This particular variation has a barcode on the back covering the original printed barcode and is found only (so far) in the Australian market.

Description: Vader is obsessed with finding the young Rebel who destroyed the Death Star, believing him to be the offspring of Anakin Skywalker. Following up on a probe droid lead, Vader identifies the Rebel base on Hoth but arrives too late, as the last of the Rebels flee Echo Base.
2006 European Saga Collection SAGA-038 Darth Vader Bespin Confession

Description: Darth Vader has sinister plans to use Cloud City’s carbon-freeze chamber. Reluctant to try this crude process on the Emperor’s prize, Luke Skywalker, Vader decides to test it first on Han Solo. The process works, and although Luke finds his way into the chamber, Vader’s plans fail as Luke escapes and confronts him in heated lightsaber combat. At the end of this dramatic battle, Vader confesses to Luke the secret that has burned within him: He is indeed Luke’s father!
Comments: This is the European stickered version of Saga 038, with European language sticker covering the back and a European insert viewable from the bottom
2004 Canadian Original Trilogy Collection 29 Darth Vader

Description: The evil Imperial Lord Darth Vader is ordered by the Emperor to crush the heroic Rebels. Vader tracks the Rebels to the planet Hoth and launches an attack to capture them and destroy the Rebel base. He is furious when the Rebels discover his forces are coming, and the Rebels are able to escape the base before the evil Empire can capture it.
Comments: This is the Canadian version of OTC #29, with a starburst background and generic cardback found on all Canadian OTC figures.

Comments: This is from the variant set of “chase” or limited release figures labeled “Ultimate Galactic Hunt”, and included silver highlighting on the card, a silver display stand and a silver hologram character seen from the rear.

2005 Australian Saga Collection Hunt for the Millennium Falcon: Bounty Hunter Pack

Description: There can be no mistakes this time. Darth Vader, in a desperate search to find the elusive Millennium Falcon and her crew, has called a meeting with several of the galaxy’s most feared bounty hunters. They accept their orders to find and capture the crew of the Falcon alive and unharmed. No disintegrations! The task will be difficult, but the reward will be substantial.
Comments: This was a Previews Exclusive in the US market. It was not released as an exclusive in the Australian market, but the only place you could get it from was online retailer casefresh.com and it carried no “Previews” sticker. It was originally scheduled for release as a part of the “Original Trilogy Collection”, but it ended up as ’Saga Collection”. You can still see the OTC graphic partially obscured on the back. This is not a sticker, but is printed on the card.
