Darth Vader is the evil and much feared military leader of the Galactic Empire. He seeks to bring young Luke Skywalker over to the dark side. As the two battle on a precarious outer walkway on Bespin, Vader reveals a shocking secret that shatters Luke’s world.

Description: One of the most devastating of the Empire’s specialized stormtrooper units, the incinerator troopers wield powerful plasma rifles to set enemies ablaze. When deployed to a forest world like Kashyyyk, a small squadron of incinerator troopers can level an entire Wookiee village in a matter of hours. Vader and the Incinerator Troopers are sent in whenever an example needs to be made of anyone who dares to question the ultimate authority of the Empire.

Description: As has been the custom of the Jedi and Sith for many centuries, Vader uses a meditation chamber to enhance his powers. Within this specially pressurized, hyperbaric enclosure, the Sith Lord is able to remove his mask and briefly still be able to breathe.

Comments: BD8 is part of the Build-A-Droid line, where one part of a droid was included. If you bought all the figures in the line, you essentially had a free droid. This is one of the “First Day Issue” variations, which included a foil titled cardback, and a bright foil sticker on the front bubble.

Description: The evil Sith Lord Darth Vader enforces the Emperor’s will throughout the galaxy. He captures Princess Leia to discover the location of the heroic Rebels’ secret base and recover the Death Star plans, which have been stolen by a Rebel spy. Vader is strong in the ways of the Force, but has gone over to the dark side and is using this power to do harm.
